In a tough road matchup, KCC struggled to get anything going against North Iowa Area, falling 10-0. NIACC jumped out to an early lead, scoring two runs in the first inning and adding five more in the second. They continued to pile on with three more runs in the third inning. KCC's offense was held to just one hit, a double by Paxtyn Hicks.
For the Lady Cavs, Paxtyn Hicks went 1-for-2 with a double, but unfortunately that was the only hit of the game for the team. Pitcher Koralie Morin took the loss, giving up seven runs in just 1.1 innings. Kaitlynn Heale came in for relief, allowing three more runs in 2.2 innings of work.
