The KCC fans had a lot to cheer about as the Cavaliers took down Sauk Valley College with an impressive performance. With a final score of 81-65, the Cavaliers extended their winning streak to seven games and brought their season record back to .500 (12-12).
Leading the way was Sarah Burton who put up 14 points on 6-8 shooting. Amarii Mays and Kaliyah (Lulu) Wilkins also had standout performances with 15 and 10 points respectively. The team as a whole shot 57.9% from the field and 4-10 from beyond the arc.
Defensively, KCC was dominant with 19 steals, 5 blocks and 18 turnovers forced. Jazmyn Smith and Hayley Diveley combined for 6 steals and 3 blocks.
