Kankakee Community College combines a winning tradition in sports with a commitment to excellence in academics. We provide the student-athlete with opportunities for development not only athletically, but academically and personally as well.

KCC offers these intercollegiate sports competing in Region IV of the NJCAA:

  • men's basketball
  • women's basketball
  • baseball
  • softball
  • men's soccer
  • volleyball

The college boasts meticulously crafted fields and modern, well-maintained facilities for all teams.

Important Notes:

KCC’s athletic programs are open to students enrolled in 12 or more credit hours who meet NJCAA eligibility requirements.

KCC does not charge recruitment fees for any of its college sports and is not affiliated with any third-party recruiters. Only KCC coaches are able to give scholarships, recruit or make athletic commitments.

KCC follows all NJCAA regulations regarding international student athletes. KCC's basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball and soccer head coaches may recruit international students to play for their teams. Division I & II coaches may offer a tuition waiver for their athletes, though it is not guaranteed.
